Our company has a rich history dating back to 1987. As one of South Africa’s first Solar Water Heater companies, we blazed many trails that simply weren’t there. In 2010, we were joined by the former Managing Director of Shell Solar for Southern Africa, who went on to transform Solaray into a broadly based Solar Energy Company that covers Photovoltaic (PV) as well as thermal applications.
Throughout this period, we developed a number of advanced products including our patented Solar Water Heaters.We also registered patents for our PV concentrator systems, Solar module support structures, PV panel tracking systems, and differential temperature control systems for circulating water heating. More recently, we also developed a premier range of Solar PV and Solar thermal kits, expertly designed to make it easier for customers to select the products best suited to their needs.
